savaeigis artilerijos įrenginys statusas T sritis Gynyba apibrėžtis Ant savaeigės važiuoklės sumontuotas pabūklas pėstininkams ir tankams mūšio metu tiesiogiai lydėti, su priešo tankais kovoti, judriesiems kariuomenės vienetams ugnimi remti. Terminas „savaeigis artilerijos įrenginys“ buvo vartojamas II pasaulinio karo ir pirmaisiais pokario metais. Savaeigis artilerijos įrenginys turėjo galingesnius negu tankai pabūklus. SSRS kariuomenėje buvo skiriami lengvieji (ASU-57, SAU-57P, SU-76, SU-76M, SU-76I ir ASU-76), vidutiniai (SU-85, SU-100, SU-100P ir SU-122) ir sunkieji (ISU-122, ISU-122S, SU-152 ir ISU-152) savaeigiai artilerijos įrenginiai. Vokietijos kariuomenėje buvo Δ „Ferdinand“, „Jagdpantera“, „Jagdtigr“; JAV – M10, M18, M36; D. Britanijos – „Archer“, „Sexton“.
